After some lay off the Blog is now ready to continue to have open and frank discussions on the issues that are of real concern in the Bundaberg Region. Please feel free to 'get it out there' and have the debate no one is prepared to have.

Airport Downsize No Surprise

Bundy City has announced that it has downgraded its upgrade of the Airport because the Fed's and the State doesn't want anything to do with it.  The lack of proper planning by Bundy City for major projects again rears it's head when you consider that they spent Millions on the 'Hinkler Aviation Musuem' in the 'Botanical Gardens', instead of being part of the upgraded Airport facilities.  The Aviation Musuem built at the Airport would have enabled the original Airport plans to come to fruition.  Again the Leadership of some of the Bundy City Councillors ability to 'Vision' an integrated region with 'regional' facilities beyond the boundaries of the City is sorely lacking.     

Manipulation At The Pump

 Now for something completely different;how many of you rushed out and bought petrol(read filled every available container)when the supposed dry spell was on???? Why?? A tiny piece in the paper about a fire you didn't see,that the truckies didn't know about.  

Those of us that have been walking all this time will be showing you all(ok not all), but most, how to get from a to b via the bits hanging off your hips.

In the meantime frightening how easy the fuel manipulation was and is.
